Derby County Preview – Another home win for the Rams?
Derby County have been like Jekyll and Hyde this season; the Rams have been superb at home but woeful away. County have not won on the road in league action since the opening weekend of the season, but they did beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup recently.
In contrast, Derby have been very hard to beat on their own patch. In fact, since losing at home to Bristol City back in August, only Millwall have managed to leave Pride Park with all three points. Phillip Cocu’s troops have won seven of their last ten home games in the Championship.
Derby were involved in a four-goal thriller with in-form Middlesbrough last time out, coming from behind twice to claim a deserved 2-2 draw. That point took their tally to 34 points for the season. At the time of writing, Derby find themselves down in 17th place with 19 games to go.
The Midlands outfit, who have won their last two at home, will be targeting another home victory on Saturday. Derby are available at 13/8 to see off the Tigers and move on to 37 points.
Hull City Preview – Can the Tigers continue their fine away form?
Hull City have been one of the most unpredictable teams in the Championship this season. On their day, the Tigers are capable of giving anyone a mauling, but those days have been too few and far between for Grant McCann’s liking.
Nevertheless, Hull are sitting nicely in 11th place at the moment, just three points away from the top six. The Tigers fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Fulham at the KCOM Stadium last time out, but they did win three league and cup matches in a row prior to that.

McCann’s men have been pretty solid away from home in the Championship this season, with only six sides claiming more away points up until now. Overall, City have won five, drawn four and lost four of 13, scoring 19 and conceding 18 along the way.
Hull have won each of their last three away matches, beating Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday in the league and Rotherham United in the FA Cup. Can they secure a fourth away victory on the bounce at the weekend?
