Dominant in domestic football, Dinamo have become accustomed to playing in the Champions League. They’ve reached the group stages in three of the last five seasons but came undone this time around when losing out 2-1 away to Ferencvaros in the third round of qualifying. The veteran coach Dick Advocaat embarks on another European campaign in a competition he knows well having won it when boss of Zenit in 2008. Advocaat celebrates his first year in charge of the club this month and will be relatively happy with how the Rotterdam club have began this season. Saturday’s draw against city rivals Sparta seen them drop off joint-top but they are only two points behind Ajax.

There has been no shortage of goals for Feyenoord having hit 12 goals in their five Eredivisie games. The impressive Steven Berghuis has scored six of those and will be the biggest threat to Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow. He scored one goal in the group stage last season.

Feyenoord will also be confident of their game standing up to the test away from home having both their road games in the league – scoring six goals and conceding only one.
