Dundee United Preview – Can the Terrors keep up fine form?
Dundee United were promoted from the Scottish Championship as champions last season, and the Terrors, who are now managed by Micky Mellon, have made a strong start to life back in the top tier.
United battled to a draw with St Johnstone on home soil in their opener before winning 1-0 at Motherwell on matchday two. They then suffered their first defeat since returning to the top division, with Hibernian leaving Tannadice with a 1-0 win.
United returned to winning ways in stunning style last weekend, though, beating Ross County 2-1 at Victoria Park. Mellon’s men went a goal down, but goals from Peter Pawlett and Nicky Clark turned things around in Dingwall.

Celtic Preview – Will the Hoops be too strong at Tannadice?
Celtic have played just two Premiership matches so far, picking up four points from a possible six. The Bhoys started with an emphatic 5-1 home win over Hamilton Academical, with the prolific Odsonne Edouard scoring a treble. However, they were disappointing at Rugby Park on matchday two, drawing 1-1 with Kilmarnock.
Celtic were in UEFA Champions League qualifying action last Tuesday, going up against KR Reykjavik at Celtic Park. The Celts were far too strong for the Icelanders, with efforts by Mohamed Elyounoussi (2), Christopher Jullien, Greg Taylor, Edouard and an own goal earning them a thumping 6-0 home victory.

Celtic were exceptionally strong on the road last season, winning a staggering 12 of 15 away league matches. Along the way, the Hoops netted 39 goals and conceded just 12. After dropping two points in their opening away fixture of this season, Lennon’s side will want maximum points from Saturday’s trip to Dundee.
