Eintracht Frankfurt have put together a five match unbeaten run in all competitions which includes a creditable 2-2 draw away at Ukraine club Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg of the round of 16 in the Europa League during the week.
The hosts will now feel they’ve a great chance of progressing through to the next round therefore in Europe, while on the domestic front, Eintracht Frankfurt have recorded a 3-1 home win over Freiburg along with taking points off Werder Bremen, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in recent weeks in the Bundesliga in 2-2, 1-1 and 0-0 draws respectively.

Gladbach’s overall recent results have also been mixed as they’ve recently registered wins against Bayer Leverkusen, Augsburg and Schalke 04 in 1-0, 2-00 and 2-0 wins respectively, but these victories have been offset by defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin.
But it’s away from home where Gladbach haven’t been entirely convincing so far this season as an overall away record of 4-3-4 16/15 indicates, which includes recent defeats at RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund as well as back-to-back wins at Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04.
