That recent win for Hobro ended a dismal run of six league matches without a win for the visitors who had been handed defeats against Randers, AGF, Aalborg and Midtjylland during this poor sequence of results.
A poor away record of 0-3-3 7/15 means that Hobro are still in search of their first away win of the season and having gone seven matches without a win on their travels, it’s hard to see how Hobro can get anything out of their trip to Esbjerg on Friday night.
In addition, Esbjerg remain unbeaten in their last three encounters at home against Hobro (winning twice and one draw), so my betting tips suggest backing Esbjerg in this clash. You may want to use the handicap on the hosts though.
