Estonia kick-started their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign with a poor 6-2 loss to Czech Republic. Despite taking an early lead, they were blown away by the Czechs in Lublin, with Jaroslav Silhavy’s troops scoring four goals in the first period.
Estonia followed that up with another disappointing defeat. They took the lead again, but Belarus ran out 4-2 winners at the Dinamo Stadium in Minsk. The Blueshirts are the only side in Group E yet to pick up a point.
