Everton Prediction

Everton have dropped down to a disappointing 10th place in the Premier League after losing a fourth match in their last seven overall on the weekend when they lost 1-0 away at Brighton. The Toffees recorded an emphatic 5-1 win away at Burnley on Boxing Day but there’s been very little otherwise for the Everton faithful to cheer in recent weeks.

Everton enjoyed a solid run of results from the end of September through to the end of November which saw the hosts win 5 of their 7 matches played with wins against Fulham, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Cardiff City, but the tide seems to have turned on Marco Silva’s men in recent times.

Nevertheless, Everton still possess a decent home record of 5-3-2 18/15 at Goodison Park which includes just one defeat from their last seven matches on home turf, with midfielder Sigurdsson (8 goals) and forward Richarlison (9 goals) leading the way for the hosts.

Leicester City Prediction

After having registered fantastic results in recent times against Chelsea 1-0 away and a 2-1 home win over Manchester City, Leicester City were surprisingly unable to record a third league win on the trot last Saturday when they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Cardiff City.

Claude Puel’s men have now lost three of their last five matches with earlier defeats to Tottenham and Crystal Palace which has undone not only their previous six-match unbeaten run but also the great wins over high-flying Chelsea and Manchester City.

Consistency, or lack thereof has been the buzz word surrounding Leicester’s campaign in this season’s Premier League which is evident when looking at their overall results to date; W8 D4 L8 while their away record resembles the familiar pattern with a record of 4-2-4 12/13.

However, one thing you can virtually rely on is Leicester City’s ability to score goals on the road as The Foxes have scored in 9 of their 10 away matches to date, and with the likes of Maddison (5 goals) and Vardy (6 goals), you can’t rule them out of scoring again at Everton.

Betting Tips Verdict

Both Everton and Leicester City have struggled for consistency but both are very capable of scoring goals.
