Everton Prediction

Everton secured a valuable three points away at Huddersfield Town in a 1-0 win at the John Smith’s Stadium, and whilst it wasn’t an entirely convincing win, this will give The Toffees a much needed boost ahead of their next home match at Goodison Park against Wolves this Saturday.

It’s now two wins from their last three matches in the top flight for Marco Silva’s men following a recent 2-0 home win over Bournemouth, but the jury still seems to be out on the Portuguese manager who has struggled to find consistency in results for Everton.

This upcoming clash with Wolves sees the next two teams below the top six battle it out for honours, and with a fairly solid home record of 6-3-3 20/16 behind them, Everton should at least avoid defeat here.

However, all three points are by no means guaranteed as their recent win over Bournemouth ended a run of four league matches without a win at home.

Key-Facts – Everton v Wolves

  • Everton have won 2 of their last 3 Premier League matches
  • Wolves have won just 2 of their last 7 away matches
  • Wolves have kept just 2 clean sheets away from home in the EPL

Wolves Prediction

Wolves recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League during the week when they registered a convincing 3-0 home win over West Ham which followed in the footsteps of an entertaining 4-3 win over Leicester City last weekend which has seen Wolves climb above Everton and into 7th place.

Wolves have won three of their last five matches overall in the top flight but it should be noted though that their two recent victories were registered at Molineux while away from home, the west midlands club have struggled for consistency as their away record of 4-3-4 11/13 indicates.

The visitors have won two of their last seven on their travels which were wins at Newcastle United and Tottenham, but have also stumbled to defeats at Brighton, Cardiff City and Manchester City.

In addition, Wolves have kept just two clean sheets on the road all season so this could be a tricky afternoon for Nuno Espirito Santos’s men.

Betting Tips Verdict

Both Everton and Wolves have struggled for consistency this season but both come into this match on the back of wins – home advantage at Goodison Park perhaps gives Everton a slight edge.
