Everton Preview – Can the in-form Toffees go through?

Everton are enjoying a fine season in the Premier League under Carlo Ancelotti. With over half of the season now played, the Toffees are riding high in seventh spot, winning 11 of their 21 league matches. The Merseysiders are just three points behind fourth-place Liverpool with two games in hand.

On their way to the Round of 16 of this season’s FA Cup, Everton have beaten EFL Championship sides Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday. They needed extra time to see off Rotherham in round three, but goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Yerry Mina gave them a comfortable 3-0 win over Wednesday in the previous round.

Our betting prediction:
Tottenham to win 1-0

Ancelotti has made Everton hard to beat in recent months, with just Manchester United, West Ham United and Newcastle United getting the better of them since November. Can they see off fellow Premier League opposition in the FA Cup in midweek?

Tottenham Hotspur Preview – EFL Cup finalists book their spot in last eight of FA Cup?

After a run of three successive Premier League losses to Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea, last weekend’s 2-0 home victory over West Bromwich Albion was just what the doctor ordered for Tottenham Hotspur. However, the London club have slipped down to eighth.

Spurs have had an extremely busy season, but Jose’s boys are still fighting on all fronts. They have reached the 2021 EFL Cup final and are through to the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League. Mourinho will want to see his side go far in the FA Cup, also.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur Betting Advice

On the opening weekend of the Premier League season back in September, Everton left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 1-0 win, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the only goal of the game. These two teams have been regular opponents in the Premier League throughout the years, but Wednesday’s match will be the first FA Cup meeting between the pair since 1995.
