A fight against relegation with four games to go is not the campaign that Fiorentina would have expected but that’s the situation they find themselves in. The Viola are in 14th but still only four points above the bottom three. With just one win in seven there is no guarantees that the will find the form they need either. Their only win since the middle of March is a 2-1 victory away to Verona last month.
Had they managed to hold on to leads against Juventus or Bologna in the games that followed that win then it could well be a more comfortable situation for them but they now face an anxious spell.

Although the team have struggled as a whole, the impressive Dusan Vlahovic is going from strength to strength. The young Serbian striker is on 19 goals in Serie A and is courting attention from elsewhere. He’s scored seven in his last six matches.

Having had a taste of the Champions League this season, Lazio and their coach Simone Inzaghi will be desperate to get back there.
