Football – England – Championship Betting Tips

Fulham extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to three matches on Saturday when they earned a point in a 2-2 draw away at Hull City, which followed on from previous back-to-back wins over Barnsley and Cardiff City.

The Cottagers have turned their form around in recent weeks as they’ve suffered just one defeat in their last five matches overall, which was a 1-0 loss away at struggling Sunderland, but they’re also unbeaten in their last four at Craven Cottage which includes wins over Millwall, Birmingham City and Barnsley.

Fulham’s home record stands at an improved  4-6-2  13/12 but all four of their wins to date on home turf have been by single goal margins, as the goals have been hard to come by for the hosts so far this season.

Visitors Ipswich Town suffered a third defeat in five matches on the weekend when they were beaten 2-1 at home to Derby County at Portman Road, and they now have to hit the road again down to the nation’s capital where they’ll be looking to rekindle the kind of form they were showing earlier in the season.

The Tractor Boys started their Championship campaign off with a bang as they won all of their opening four matches of the new term with wins over Birmingham City, Barnsley, Millwall and Brentford, but their season has since unfolded in very familiar fashion as the inconsistencies have crept back in.

But on their day, Ipswich can cause plenty of problems with an attacking quartet of Waghorn (10 goals), Garner (7 goals) along with Celina and McGoldrick (6 goals apiece). The odds for the handicap on the visitors is priced attractively here I feel.
