Scott Parker’s Fulham were relegated from the Premier League after one tough season in the top flight. However, they have no plans of staying in the second tier for long, as the Cottagers are nicely placed in fourth at the moment. The London side have taken 49 points from 29 matches and are just four points adrift of the top two.
Since a somewhat shock 2-1 home defeat to Reading on New Year’s Day, Parker’s boys have struck back with two wins and a draw from their last three in the Championship. After back-to-back 1-0 wins over Hull City and Middlesbrough, they were held to a goalless draw by Charlton Athletic at The Valley last time out in league action.
Fulham are sitting pretty in the table, and they look destined to reach the play-offs at the very least. At the time of writing, the Whites are available at just 2/1 to be promoted. Three points on Saturday could go a long way to achieving that goal.
Huddersfield Town Preview – Can the Terries build on their midweek win at Hull?
Huddersfield Town were also relegated from the Premier League, but their season in the Championship has been far different to Fulham’s thus far. With 17 games to go, the Terriers are only six points above the bottom three in 19th spot. However, they have certainly improved since the Cowley brothers arrived from Lincoln City.
Overall, the Terriers have won eight, drawn eight and lost 13. Town have a -12 goal difference, with only the current bottom three having a poorer record up until now. Huddersfield have scored 33 and conceded 45.

Danny Cowley’s troops still have plenty of work to do in the fight for survival, but the Yorkshire club picked up a crucial three points away at Hull City in midweek, with Karlan Grant and Steve Mounie getting the goals in a 2-1 victory.
