There’s a full slate of domestic action in the lower leagues this weekend and my next pick starts with the National League where Fylde take on Braintree Town with more betting tips for our readers.
Fylde sit just outside of the play-off places in the National League after making a very solid start to their new campaign which has seen The Coasters suffer just one defeat so far this season. That loss came in a 2-0 defeat at home to second placed Salford City, but a home record of 4-1-1 12/4 has given today’s hosts a great platform to build from.
Indeed, it’s not just this season where Fylde have been a hard team to beat at Mill Farm; the hosts have lost just once out of their last 12 matches on home turf, while forward Danny Rowe (7 goals) has continued where he left off at the end of last season.
Braintree Town have found life in the non-league top flight difficult to come to terms with so far this campaign as The Iron find themselves bottom of the pile after the first 13 league matches of the season with just six points to their name.
The visitors have managed to muster just the one win so far in this new campaign which was a 1-0 win away at Gateshead, but there’s been very little for the Braintree fans to cheer about as Bradley Quinton’s boys have already lost 9 of their 13 matches to date.
Following the Gateshead win, Braintree have seemingly returned to type as they come into this clash following back-to-back defeats to Maidstone United and Leyton Orient, both of which were at home.
Braintree possess an ordinary looking away record of 1-2-3 3/5 and have won just once in their last 11 matches on the road, in addition to failing to score in 6 of these.
