FYLDE v SOLIHULL MOORS

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Fylde will be keen to consolidate their play-off position when they entertain bottom half outfit Solihull Moors when these two teams clash at Mill Farm on Saturday afternoon.

Fylde currently occupy sixth place in the National League but they dropped all three points in their recent 1-0 loss away at Maidstone United, so the hosts will be keen to return to winning ways as they look to fend off late challenges from Wrexham, Dover Athletic and Bromley.

Previous to their defeat at Maidstone, Fylde had registered four league wins on the trot in the non-league top flight with victories chalked up over Halifax Town, Barrow, Sutton United and Torquay United, and with a good home record of  11-8-3  50/26 along with four wins from their last five on home turf, the hosts look in good shape here.

Solihull Moors have made significant progress in the bottom half of the National league as they’ve transformed from being relegation candidates to moving five points clear of the relegation zone and now occupy a much more respectable 18th place.

Former Cheltenham Town and Crawley Town boss, Mark Yates, has made his side a much harder prospect to beat in recent times, and they’ve picked up wins over Bromley, Hartlepool United, Maidstone United and Guiseley.

However, three of these four wins were recorded at their Damson Park ground, while their away record to date this season stands at  5-4-12  18/28 which includes just one win from their last five on their travels.

Solihull have failed to score in 10 of their 21 away matches to date, and they’ll find things tough going against a high scoring Fylde unit here I fancy.
