Tuesday night brings us the final match day 6 of the group stages of the Champions League and my first pick features Galatasaray taking on Porto as the betting tips continue.
The final placings in Group D have actually already been decided but nevertheless, this fixture provides us with a good opportunity to make some money; the hosts are in third place and have no chance of qualifying for the knockout stage but they still remain unbeaten at home and could make things difficult for Porto who have already won the group.
Galatasaray have lost three of their last four but have recorded a 3-0 home win over Lokomotiv Moscow and picked up a point in a 0-0 draw with Schalke 04, along with being unbeaten in their last 10 matches in all competitions at their Türk Telekom Stadyumu, with the last five matches all ending in stalemates.
Forwards Derdiyok (5 goals) and Onyekuru (4 goals) look the most likely to score for the hosts.
Onto Porto, and as mentioned the Portuguese club have already qualified for the knockout rounds as they sit top of Group D with 13 points and a five point cushion ahead of second placed Schalke 04 who have also already qualified for the next stage.
Porto have enjoyed a successful and impressive campaign to date as they hold a 100% winning record at home and away from home, took a point off Schalke in a 1-1 draw before beating Lokomotiv Moscow 3-0 in Russia.
The visitors therefore also remain unbeaten away from home, but manager Sergio Conceicao may be tempted to re-shuffle his pack for this final group match with nothing riding on the result and may rest a few of his key players to keep them fresh for the next phase.
