Results at home haven’t been too bad as they’ve posted a record of 3-2-2 13/12 to date but it still includes losses to Ulsan and Busan I’Park, so this visit from high-flying Daegu could present further problems for Friday night’s hosts.
Daegu Preview – Can Daegu bounce back?
5th placed Daegu will no doubt be eager to halt their recent back-to-back defeats in the Korean top flight when they make their way to face Gangwon on Friday night following losses to Jeonbuk Motors and Incheon United in recent matches.
The visitors hold a seven-point cushion ahead of 7th placed Seongnam so there’s no immediate danger of losing their existing top six spot but nevertheless, Daegu will want to return to winning ways sooner rather than later.
With just two defeats out of their last 14 matches on their travels, Daegu stand a decent chance of doing just that, especially against Gangwon whom they’ve beaten in nine of the last 10 meetings against!
