GATESHEAD v BROMLEY

Saturday 7th October 2017 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Gateshead will be keen to return to winning ways when they entertain Bromley at their Gateshead International Stadium on Saturday afternoon following a dismal run which has seen the hosts register just one win in recent times.

Gateshead started the season well as they registered three wins from their first five matches of the new National League campaign, which included victories over Guiseley, Torquay United and Macclesfield Town. However, since then, The Heed have recorded just one further win from their subsequent nine matches overall, which was a 3-2 win at home against Chester.

The hosts head into this clash on the back of three stalemates on the trot as they’ve been held to a single point by Maidstone United, Boreham Wood and Fylde, but they’ve lost just once on home turf so far this term.

Visitors Bromley sit mid-table in the National League thanks largely to four league wins so far at their Courage Stadium, but they do come into this encounter having recorded a valuable three points during the week with a solid 2-0 win away at Maidstone United.

Bromley have won three of their last five overall in the National League with previous wins over Torquay united and Solihull Moors which were both record at home, while away from home they possess a record of  2-2-3  8/12 to their names to date.

Although recent form has been inconsistent, Bromley took all three points in their last visit to the northeast when they beat Gateshead 2-0 back at the end of April, and with midfielder Rees and forward Williams (4 goals apiece), they should get something out of their trip here as well.
