National League Betting at bet365

Gateshead Prediction

Following a run of three league matches without a win, Gateshead will be desperate to return to winning ways after having lost their last two matches on the trot as they succumbed to defeats against Hartlepool United and Maidenhead United along with just a point against Halifax at home.

Gateshead are usually pretty solid at home in the National League but they’ve lost four matches on home turf already this season and this has contributed towards The Heed being unable to make an impact upon the play-off pack so far this season.

A home record of 7-3-4 18/11 includes just one defeat from their last seven matches though, so the hosts will be confident they can at least stem the flow of recent defeats here. Gateshead’s forward trio of Armstrong (10 goals), Boden (8 goals) and Rigg (5 goals) should give Gateshead a chance here.

Solihull Moors Prediction

Solihull Moors sit in 4th place in the National League where they consolidated their current play-off position with a resounding 4-1 home win over Eastleigh on the weekend which kept them within six points of the league leaders, Leyton Orient.

The visitors have posted mixed results in recent weeks though as they’ve gained a 4-0 win away at Chesterfield but have also suffered defeats to Barrow and Wrexham, so the west midlands club are by no means guaranteed of all three points in this clash.

Solihull’s recent form away from home though has been impressive as they’ve suffered just one defeat from their last five matches on the road which was the aforementioned loss at Wrexham but wins at Maidstone United, Braintree Town and Chesterfield show that Solihull Moors carry a serious threat on their travels.

Solihull’s away record stands at 7-1-5 21/17 and they’ve failed to score in just 3 of their 13 away matches to date with forwards Hylton (9 goals), Yussuf and Wright (8 goals apiece) providing the bulk of the goals for the visitors to date.

Betting Tips Verdict

With both teams in pretty good shape, I’ll back them both to score here at good odds.
