Halifax and Wrexham to both score at The Shay

National League Tips

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Halifax were handed a second defeat on the trot away from home on the weekend, so they’ll be looking forward to returning to The Shay for Tuesday night’s encounter with Wrexham, where they possess a reasonable home record on their own turf.

Following a 3-1 loss at Dagenham & Redbridge, Halifax were on the end of a 2-0 loss at Ebbsfleet United on Saturday, but home form has been very good as they’ve won their last four matches on the trot with wins over Guiseley, Fylde, Maidenhead United and Bromley.

The Shaymen’s home record stands at  4-0-2 10/8, and they possess some useful attacking options in the shape of forwards Kosylo and Denton (5 goals apiece), along with Morgan (3 goals) up front.

Visitors Wrexham have made an impressive start to their new National League campaign as they sit in sixth place and come into this clash on the back of a useful eight-match unbeaten run which includes wins over Woking, Boreham Wood, Bromley and Tranmere Rovers.

But whilst Wrexham have continued to perform well on home turf where they’ve suffered just one defeat so far this season, their results away from home have been less consistent as they hold a  3-1-2  5/4 record on their travels so far this season.

That said, Wrexham have scored in 8 of their last 10 matches away from home in the National League, and with the likes of Boden, Reid and Massanka up front, they’re expected to get something from their trip to Halifax this evening.
