As mentioned earlier, Dundee sit bottom of the Scottish top flight with just 10 points under their belt so far this term following what has been a very difficult season for The Dees which has been further compounded by four defeats from their last five matches overall.
For a short while, it looked like Dundee were staging a recovery as they put together a four match unbeaten run from mid-November to early December which saw the visitors pick up points with draws against St Mirren, Hibernian and Rangers as well as gaining a heavy 4-0 home win over Hamilton Academical.
Away from home though, the problems have continued as they’ve lost five of their last six on their travels within a poor record of 1-1-8 7/25 with the visitors also possessing the worst defensive record away from home in the Premiership.
In addition, Dundee have failed to score in 5 of their 10 matches on the road this season.
