Hebei Prediction – Can Hebei avoid third loss on trot?

Recent back-to-back defeats to Guangzhou Evergrande 2-1 and a 2-0 loss to Wuhan Zall have undone the previous good work from Hebei.

Before these losses, Hebei had shown glimpses of a possible recovery in the Chinese top flight as they’d put together a 3-match unbeaten run.

Wins against Jiangsu Suning and Dalian Yifang in 3-2 and 1-0 victories respectively and both at home was followed with a decent point on the road.

Hebei managed to hold 7th placed Guangzhou R&F to a creditable point in a 2-2 draw away from home, but two subsequent defeats on the trot have been disappointing.

Results at home have also been below par as the hosts have managed to post a record of 2-1-4 8/11 so far this season at their Langfang City Sports Center.

However, Hebei have performed well at home when they’ve faced Shenzhen, as the hosts have won the previous two encounters at home against Sunday’s opponents.

Shenzhen Prediction – Can Shenzhen record first away win of season?

Shenzhen are one of only two clubs in the Chinese top flight who have yet to register an away win so far this season.

This has no doubt contributed to Shenzhen’s current lowly league position of 12th place in the Chinese Super League, along with a poor recent set of results.

The visitors are without a league win from their last 7 matches overall in the Super League and this miserable sequence includes 6 defeats.

To make matters worse, Shenzhen have failed to score in 6 of these last 7 matches which is a serious concern indeed for manager, Lopez Caro.

Results away from home also make for poor reading if you’re a Shenzhen fan as the visitors have slumped to 5 defeats on the trot on the road.

This season, Shenzhen have posted a poor away record of 0-1-6 3/13 but the bigger picture shows us that they’re without an away win from their last 27 matches on their travels.

Such a poor away record will surely receive further punishment here against Hebei.

Key-Facts – Hebei v Shenzhen

  • Hebei have won the last 2 meetings at home against Shenzhen
  • Shenzhen haven’t won an away match for 27 matches in the CSL
  • Shenzhen have failed to score in 6 of their last 7 matches in the CSL

Betting Tips Verdict

Hebei have been ordinary this season but can still grab the points against a poor travelling Shenzhen side here.
