The Scandinavian theme continue with our next two picks as we head off to Sweden and a look ahead to the clash between Helsingborg and Orebro as the betting tips continue at the Olympia ground.

Helsingborg Prediction – Can Helsingborg bounce back?

After being handed a 2-0 defeat away from home at 2nd placed AIK last time out, Helsingborg will be keen to bounce back with a win on Monday night.

The hosts return to their more familiar surroundings of Olympia where they registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Sirius in their last outing.

Overall results have been so-so for Helsingborg who have captured recent wins against Orebro (away) and Sirius.

However, defeats to Malmo and AIK, the top two clubs in the Allsvenskan, have prevented Helsingborg from moving away from the relegation zone.

Just 4 points separate them from third from bottom Kalmar and the relegation play-off spot, but recent results at home have also been disappointing.

Having won just 1 of their last 6 matches on home turf, this is expected to be a tough fixture for Helsingborg despite holding home advantage.

A home record of 3-3-2 10/9 doesn’t inspire confidence in a home win but 6 of Helsingborg’s 8 home matches have seen both teams score.

Orebro Prediction – Can Orebro build on emphatic win?

A resounding 4-0 home win over fellow Allsvenskan strugglers, Falkenberg, last time out handed Orebro a valuable 3 points in their bid to pull away from the relegation zone.

This would have been a very welcome victory indeed for the visitors who had previously suffered a 3-match losing streak in the Swedish top flight.

Recent defeats to Helsingborg, Malmo and Hacken had threatened to plunge Orebro further into relegation danger, but they responded in emphatic fashion.

They’ll now be looking to replicate this result and performance onto the road on Monday night when they face Helsingborg at Olympia.

Orebro’s results away from home have been hit-and-miss with their successes being more sporadic than consistent.

A disappointing 3-match sequence earlier in the season saw Orebro lose at Falkenberg and Elfsborg along with a draw at AFC Eskilstuna.

They then bounced back with 3 away wins on the trot with victories at GIF Sundsvall, Ostersunds and Goteborg, but have since lost their last 2 away matches thereafter.

It appears they can’t be trusted for the win here either then, but an away record of 3-1-4 10/13 includes 5 of Orebro’s 8 matches resulting in both teams scoring.

Key-Facts – Helsingborg v Orebro

  • 6 of Helsingborg’s 8 home matches have seen both teams score
  • 5 of Orebro’s last 8 away matches have resulted in both teams scoring
  • 4 of the last 7 meetings between these two sides have ended in draws

Betting Tips Verdict

Neither Helsingborg nor Orebro seem particularly well equipped to take all 3 points here, but a score-draw could be on the cards.
