Moving north of the border, and Hibernian take on bottom club Dundee at Easter Road on Saturday afternoon with the hosts looking to pull themselves out of their recent winless run as the betting tips continue.
Hibernian have had a tough set of fixtures in recent weeks and they’ve paid the price as losses to Celtic, St Johnstone and Aberdeen will testify, but they did manage to take a point off second placed Hearts with a 0-0 draw at Tynecastle.
Despite this recent four-match sequence without a win, Hibs can put themselves back into contention for a top six finish with all three points here, and with a decent home record of 3-1-1 13/4 under their belts and hitting Hamilton for 6 in early October, the hosts will be confident of returning to winning ways.
Midfielders Boyle and Mallan (4 goals each) along with forward Kamberi (4 goals) are Hibs’ main threats in front of goal.
Dundee sit bottom of the Scottish Premiership with just 4 points gained from the first 13 matches of the season and although were still only in November, the visitors already look almost certain to be in the Relegation Round at the end of the regular season.
The Dees are already a massive 17 points behind sixth placed Aberdeen and although they’re facing a Hibs outfit without a win from their last four, they’ll nevertheless have their work cut out for this clash I fancy.
Dundee have lost five of their last six overall, while an away record of 1-0-5 3/12 includes just the one win at Hamilton Academicals, but also failing to score in 4 of their 6 away matches so far this season.
The betting tips indicate this should therefore be a comfortable win for Hibernian.
