The Scottish Premiership rolls on this Saturday afternoon with a bottom half clash between Hibernian and Hamilton Academical as the betting tips continue in the Scottish top flight with Hibernian looking to close the gap on 6th placed St Johnstone this weekend.

Following a dismal run of four defeats from their last five matches and just one win from their last eight matches overall in the Scottish Premiership, hosts Hibernian have been unable to make up ground on 6th placed St Johnstone and they still remain in the bottom half of the division as a result.
Hibs have managed just one win from this miserable sequence of results which was a 3-1 win away at bottom club St Mirren, but they return to their Easter Road ground this Saturday to take on Hamilton Academical who are in worse shape than they are.
Hibs still posses a fair home record of 4-5-3 21/12 and although they’ve recently suffered defeats to Hearts and Aberdeen, the hosts had previously put together a useful five match unbeaten sequence which included a 2-0 win over Celtic and a point against Rangers with a 0-0 draw.
Midfielders Boyle (4 goals) and Mallan (5 goals) along with forward pair Kamberi (5 goals) and Shaw (6 goals) should provide a few goalscoring opportunities for the hosts this afternoon.

Although Hamilton Academical sit just two league positions below this Saturday’s hosts, Hibernian, the visitors are a massive 14 points behind Hibs as they prepare for their trip to Edinburgh to take on the home side at Easter Road.
The visitors have taken four points out of their last two league matches though with a 1-1 draw with Dundee and a 2-1 win over St Johnstone – the only thing is that both of these results were recorded at their Hope CBD Stadium where they’ve won three of their five league wins to date this season.
Results away from home are a different matter though as Hamilton Academical have slumped to four losses on the trot at Dundee, Rangers, Hearts and Celtic, all to nil, and conceding a total of 10 goals without reply of course.
An away record of 2-1-9 5/27 tells its own story as well as the visitors possessing the lowest goalscoring record away from home in the division, which includes failing to score in 9 of their 12 away matches to date.
To make matters worse, their last visit to Easter road ended in a 6-0 thrashing back in early October of last year.
