Following a dismal 3-match losing streak in the Premiership, Ross County bounced back with a 2-0 home win over Livingston last Wednesday night as the visitors held onto 9th place in the domestic top flight and are now just 5 points adrift of 6th placed Hibernian prior to tonight’s encounter.
Ross County had previously been handed three defeats on the trot courtesy of Celtic, Rangers and Kilmarnock which were all away from home which didn’t help matters either as Ross County possess a poor away record of 1-5-7 9/29 overall to date.
In what has been a barren spell of results on the road this season for Ross County, their one success came in the shape of a 2-1 win at Kilmarnock, but the visitors have since slumped to 10 away matches without a win subsequently.
