Premier League Betting at Bet Victor

Huddersfield Town Prediction

Huddersfield will be desperate to put an end to their miserable sequence of defeats this evening following a harrowing run of seven league defeats on the trot which has seen The Terriers score just 4 goals during this time and concede a total of 13 goals against them.

The writing now appears to be very much on the wall for David Wagner’s side who have recorded just two league wins throughout this disappointing campaign to date, and there’s now a five point gap between the bottom placed hosts and fourth from bottom Southampton and safety ahead of their date with Burnley tonight.

Huddersfield possess a poor home record of 1-2-7 4/14 with the obvious problem being a severe lack of goals for the hosts who have failed to score in 6 of their 10 home matches to date. To make matters worse, they’re likely to be without arguably their most influential player, midfielder Aaron Mooy who is injured.

The host’s best chances appear to be to grind out a point in order to stop the rot of three home defeats on the trot against Brighton, Newcastle United and Southampton respectively.

Burnley Prediction

Burnley still remain in the bottom three of the Premier League despite recording a much needed 2-0 home win over West Ham in the battle of the clarets, but at least they’re now level on points with fourth from bottom Southampton who, on paper, face a much tougher away trip to Chelsea than Burnley have at Huddersfield Town this evening.

The win over West Ham ended a run of three straight defeats for Sean Dyche’s men as they’d previously suffered defeats against Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton, so the visitors will be in a reasonably confident frame of mind when they make their way to West Yorkshire on Wednesday night.

However, there’s still plenty of room for improvement for the Clarets, especially away from home with a poor record of 1-2-7 7/21 which includes five losses from their last six on the road. I daresay Sean Dyche would be reasonably happy to get a point here in order to halt their recent three defeats on the trot at Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Arsenal.

Betting Tips Verdict

The last three meetings between these two teams in the Premier League have all ended in stalemates and I don’t see any reason why we wouldn’t back another draw here at good value.
