Huddersfield Town defied the odds under Carlos Corberan last season, finishing in third and reaching the Championship play-off final. Unfortunately for them, they were beaten by Nottingham Forest at Wembley Stadium.
The Terriers lost Corberan in the close season, with Danny Schofield taking over the managerial role. Huddersfield have made a dreadful start, losing to Burnley and Birmingham City in the league. They were then hammered at home by Preston North End in the EFL Cup in midweek.
Huddersfield will be desperate to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat at the weekend, but this will be another stern test for Schofield and his side. Nevertheless, the hosts are priced at 8/5 to get the three points.
Stoke City Preview – Potters to pile the misery on Town?
Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City have had a mixed bag of results at the start of their 2022-23 campaign. On the opening weekend, the Potters lost 2-0 at Millwall and were bottom of the table going into matchday two.
Stoke got up and running with a big three points against Blackpool last weekend. Harry Clarke opened the scoring in the first period, and Jacob Brown doubled City’s advantage with 15 to play. O’Neill’s side then lost in the cup in midweek to EFL League One outfit Morecambe.
