Staying with La Liga, and my next preview features bottom club Huesca taking on top half outfit, Levante when the two teams meet at the Estadio El Alcoraz as the betting tips continue.
Huesca have had to endure a tough start to their new Spanish top flight campaign following last season’s triumphant promotion from Segunda Division at the end of last season. The hosts currently occupy bottom place in La Liga having earned just six points from the first 12 matches of the new term.
Huesca’s first ever season in La Liga started brightly enough with a 2-1 win away at Eibar, but things fell away in dramatic fashion for the hosts as they’ve since failed to win another match in their last 11 outings.
They’ve been dealt tough footballing lessons at Barcelona losing 8-2 and a 3-0 loss at Atletico Madrid while at home, they’ve yet to record a win amidst a record of 0-2-3 2/6. But all is not lost from a betting perspective as all five of Huesca’s home matches have ended under 2.5 so far this season.
Onto Levante and the visitors have made an encouraging start to their new La Liga campaign as they sit in 8th place but they were handed a 3-1 defeat at home by Real Sociedad just before the international break so they’ll no doubt be keen to get something at Huesca on Saturday.
Levante had previously put together a solid five match unbeaten run in the Spanish top flight with wins over Deportivo Alaves, Getafe, Real Madrid and Leganes which thrusted them up near the early european spots.
Their away record is a bit of a mixed bag though as it stands at 3-1-2 8/5 with wins at Real Betis along with the aforementioned wins at Getafe and Real Madrid, but have also lost at Espanyol and Real Valladolid.
3 of their 6 away matches have ended under 2.5, so the betting tips suggest it’s worth a hit on the unders in this one at good odds.
