For their part, Sheffield United are chasing down a place in the play-off pack, and all three points here this evening would see The Blades replace Bristol City in sixth spot. Sheffield United will come into this encounter in a positive frame of mind as they’ve collected back-to-back wins recently against Leeds United and QPR, with both games ending 2-1 at Bramall Lane.
The Blades will now be hoping they can transfer their home form on the road as they travel up to Humberside for Friday night’s tussle, but they’ll need to improve upon just one win from their last six away from home in recent weeks.
Two major things in Sheffield United’s favour though is the form of their strike pair up front of Clarke (15 goals) and Sharp (10 goals), and although Hull have the likes of Bowen (12 goals) in their armoury, the visitors could just edge this one.
