Hull City Preview – Can the Tigers avoid a fourth straight league loss?
Hull City started life back in the Championship with a stunning victory at Preston North End on the opening weekend. The Tigers caught the Lilywhites cold at Deepdale, with Keane Lewis-Potter, Richard Smallwood, Josh Magennis and Andy Cannon getting the goals in the 4-1 romp.
Since that superb win at Preston, though, Hull have crashed to four league and cup losses on the spin. They were beaten at home by Wigan Athletic in the EFL Cup on 10th August. Hull then lost successive Championship matches to Queens Park Rangers, Derby County and Fulham, scoring none and conceding six.
Staying in the Championship will be priority for the Tigers, but the last three games have proved just how difficult that will be. Can they bounce back with a big three points this weekend?
Bournemouth Preview – Cherries to return to winning ways?
Bournemouth are unbeaten in four in the Championship under new boss Scott Parker. However, the Cherries did fall to humbling 6-0 loss to Premier League new noys Norwich City in the second round of the EFL Cup in midweek.
Last time out in the Championship, Bournemouth let a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 at home with Blackpool. They took their eye off the ball for three minutes in the second half and were punished by last season’s League One play-off winners.

Bournemouth picked up a 6-1 home win, but the Tigers returned the compliment with a 3-1 victory on their own patch.

- Hull have lost four league and cup matches in a row
- Parker suffered his first Cherries loss last time out – a 6-0 League Cup reverse to Norwich
As Hull look for their first victory since thumping Preston on the first weekend, while Bournemouth will want to strike back from the embarrassing cup loss in midweek, this promises to be an end-to-end affair at the MKM. The draw and over 2.5 goals at the top price of 12/1 has caught the eye.
Dominic Solanke has had a fine start to his season, with the former Liverpool man scoring four league and cup goals already. Solanke has netted three in his last two in the Championship, and the bookies have him priced at 9/2 to open the scoring in this one.
