Hull City Preview – Can the Tigers avoid a disastrous defeat?
Grant McCann’s Hull City have been on a horrid run of form of late, winning just once in the Championship since a New Year’s Day victory at Sheffield Wednesday. Since scoring at the death to beat Middlesbrough 2-1 in a huge relegation six-pointer, the Tigers have lost successive away games at West Bromwich Albion (4-2) and Bristol City (2-1).
Hull’s recent victory over Boro in their last home fixture was their first home league triumph since beating Birmingham City 3-0 a few days before Christmas. No team in England’s second tier have picked up fewer home points than the Tigers, as City have accumulated just 24 points on their own patch, losing 11 of 21.
Hull find themselves in the bottom three with just four fixtures to play. McCann’s men are on 45 points, with Stoke City and Charlton Athletic each a point ahead. After Saturday’s clash, Hull have two huge games against Wigan Athletic and Luton Town before ending their season with a tough trip to South Wales to take on Cardiff City.
Millwall Preview – Will the Lions roar back with a win?
Millwall got their play-off bid back on track with a hard-fought 1-0 win against London rivals Charlton at The Valley in their previous away match. However, they will still be kicking themselves after losing 2-0 at home to relegation-threatened Middlesbrough in midweek. Neil Warnock’s men scored twice in the second half in a pretty perfect away display at The Den.
Wednesday’s shock defeat saw the Lions slip down to 11th, but with Cardiff losing to Blackburn Rovers, the London side remain six points off the play-off places. With that in mind, three points are a must at the KCOM on Saturday.

Gary Rowett’s men are a tough team to beat away from home, as the Lions have picked up three wins from their previous five Championship fixtures on the road, losing to only Wigan Athletic during that mini run. In fact, they have lost at just Wigan and Leeds United since a 2-1 loss at Reading in November. The Lions have taken 27 points on their travels up until now.
