Latvia kicked off their 2020-21 Nations League campaign with a 0-0 draw with Andorra at the Daugava Stadium last month. A few days later, Dainis Kazakevic’s men battled to a 1-1 draw with Malta in Ta’ Qali.

Malta were on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller against Faroe Islands in their Nations League opener last month. However, they have battled to back-to-back draws since then.
