Lazio Preview – Can Lazio take derby spoils?
Lazio will head into this local derby in Rome on the back of two wins on trot as the ‘hosts’ collected recent wins against Fiorentina and Parma in 2-1 and 2-0 wins respectively which has maintained Lazio’s interest in a possible top six finish.

Joint-tenants, Roma, will head into this local derby tussle on Friday night on the back of some solid results of late as they’ve won three of their last four matches after collecting wins against Cagliari, Sampdoria and Crotone along with holding 2nd placed Inter Milan to a 2-2 draw at home last weekend.
Indeed, Roma have suffered just the one defeat out of their last eight matches overall in the Italian top flight which came in the shape of a heavy 4-1 loss at Atalanta but they’ve also recorded a 5-1 thrashing away at Bologna too.
With just three defeats out of their last 12 matches on their travels in Serie A, Roma should have enough about them to at least avoid defeat here against a Lazio outfit whom they’ve lost just once to in their previous six encounters.
