Leeds to cover the line against poor Ipswich

LEEDS UNITED v IPSWICH TOWN

Football – England – Championship Betting Tips

Leeds United will be eyeing off all three points on Wednesday night when they play host to bottom club, Ipswich Town as the betting tips continue in the Championship.

After enjoying a brief spell at the top of the Championship, Leeds United now sit in fourth place and are two points adrift of league leaders, Middlesbrough following just one win from their last five matches in the second tier.

That win came in a 1-0 victory away at Championship strugglers, Hull City, while recent defeats at home to Birmingham City and away at Blackburn Rovers have threatened to dent Leeds’ automatic promotion hopes early on in this campaign.

The hosts have lost just once at Elland Road this season though amidst an overall home record of  3-2-1  10/4 and they’ll be looking to return to winning ways here against an Ipswich Town outfit who are really struggling with a lack of confidence. Midfielder Hernandez (3 goals), Roofe (4 goals), Roberts and Alioski (3 goals apiece) are the ones to watch for Leeds.

Ipswich Town make their way up north for this difficult looking clash with Leeds United at Elland Road on the back of a 2-0 loss at home to QPR on the weekend as they too have managed just one win, but in their case, all season to date thus far.

The Tractor Boys’ rare success came in an unexpected 3-2 win away at Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, but there’s been very little for the Ipswich faithful to cheer about so far in this campaign as the pressure upon new manager, Paul Hurst, intensifies.

The Ipswich board parted ways with long-serving former manager, Mick McCarthy, but with Ipswich now sitting bottom of the Championship and a poor away record of  1-1-4  6/11 under their belts, I’m wondering if they’re rueing their decision?

Ipswich have conceded in each of their six away matches to date, and have shipped 2 goals or more in five of these six.

My betting tips advise a Leeds win and to cover the asian line.
