Leeds United bounced back from their heavy 4-1 defeat away at West Brom before the international break with a solid 2-0 home win over Bristol City, and they have a great chance to record back-to-back wins at Elland Road on Tuesday night when they take on lowly Reading.
The hosts have lost just twice in their last nine matches in the Championship which incidentally were both away from home (Blackburn Rovers and West Brom), but they possess a good record at home to date which stands at 5-3-1 15/5 and all three points on Tuesday night could see them go top again.
Forward Roofe (8 goals) leads the way but has Alioski and Roberts (3 goals apiece) and Klich (5 goals) in support.
Reading extended their unbeaten run to three matches on Saturday by taking a point away at Wigan Athletic as the two teams shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw which followed a 3-2 home win over Bristol City and a 2-2 draw at home with Ipswich Town.
The visitors sit just two league places above the relegation zone but are level on 17 points with third from bottom Bolton Wanderers ahead of this midweek set of fixtures, and it’ll be interesting to see if Paul Clement’s side have really turned a corner by getting a result against high-flying Leeds United on Tuesday night.
An away record of 1-4-4 10/16 suggests it could well be another disappointing evening for Royals fans, and with Leeds unbeaten in their last four at home, the betting tips suggest a home win and cover the asian line here.
