Leicester City Prediction

Leicester City have certainly benefitted from the arrival of new manager, Brendan Rodgers, after he replaced former boss Claude Puel who just couldn’t seem to get The Foxes firing at all as the east midlands outfit suffered five defeats from the Frenchman’s last six matches in charge.

A heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace was the final straw which resulted in the dismissal of Puel, but since then, Leicester City have won three of their last four matches overall in the Premier League with wins against Brighton (caretaker-manager Mike Stowell in charge) along with the Rodgers-inspired victories over Fulham and Burnley, 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.

The Foxes arguably have a great chance to string together a bit of a winning run over their next few matches as they take on Bournemouth, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and West Ham before they host Arsenal at the end of April.

Leicester City have won their last two home matches on the trot which has boosted their home record to 6-2-7 19/19 but there’s still plenty of work to do for the hosts who had previously lost four on the trot at their King Power Stadium.

Key-Facts – Leicester City v Bournemouth

  • Leicester City have won 3 of their last 4 matches overall in the EPL
  • Leicester City have won their last 2 home matches on the trot
  • Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last 7 encounters against Leicester City

Bournemouth Prediction

Bournemouth sit just two positions and three points adrift of Leicester City as The Cherries look to extend their unbeaten run in the top flight to three matches following a 2-0 win away at Huddersfield Town and a point against Newcastle United in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Eddie Howe’s side have been unable to put together any sort of momentum though in recent times as the south coast club have recorded wins against West Ham and Chelsea (the latter being a 4-0 thumping at their Vitality Stadium), but have also lost against Cardiff City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Bournemouth ended a dire run of nine defeats on the trot away from home last time out when they registered a much needed 2-0 win at the John Smith’s Stadium against Huddersfield Town, and Howe will be hoping his side can replicate that result at Leicester City on Saturday.

An away record of 4-0-11 15/35 suggests this will be a tough ask, but Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last seven meetings against Leicester City, winning two of these matches and drawing the other five.

Betting Tips Verdict

Leicester City are far from the finished article under Brendan Rodgers and Bournemouth could nick a point at the King Power Stadium.
