Leicester City sit in 12th place in the Premier League but have lost four of their last five matches overall with defeats to Southampton, Wolves, Manchester United and Tottenham along with a draw against Liverpool in a creditable 1-1 draw at Anfield, but it means The Foxes have earned just one point from the last possible 15 on offer.
The pressure is starting to increase upon Leicester manager Claude Puel whose side have slumped in recent weeks, which is perhaps not surprising as Puel’s latest fax pas has seen him drop Leicester’s leading goalscorer, Vardy (8 goals) to the bench which seems an almost suicidal move given his own personal situation at the helm of the Foxes.
The problems have been closer to home though as well as Leicester City have lost four of their last five on home turf amidst an overall record of 4-2-6 13/13 which includes losses to Tottenham, Cardiff City, Southampton and Manchester United.
Time will tell if this recent two-week break has benefitted Leicester city, but midfielder Maddison is an injury doubt, while Puel leaves out Vardy from the starting line-up at his peril.

Crystal Palace sit just one league position below Leicester City but are five points adrift of their hosts ahead of this Saturday evening clash at the King Power Stadium and find themselves still looking over their shoulder at the teams below them with just three points separating them from third from bottom club, Southampton.
After an ordinary run of results, Crystal Palace have kicked back into gear having put together a useful five match sequence without defeat which includes their recent 5th round FA Cup win against Doncaster Rovers which saw The Eagles progress through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Recent results in the Premier League have seen Crystal Palace take points off Southampton and West Ham in 1-1 draws in both matches, along with a 2-0 home win over Fulham which will give Roy Hodgson’s team a much needed boost ahead of this trip.
In addition, talismanic forward, Zaha has returned from injury and will undoubtedly be a boost to his side’s chances of getting something at the King Power Stadium this evening.

Leicester City find themselves in a slump while Crystal Palace seem to have rekindled their form in recent weeks, so the visitors look good for at least a point here.
