Leicester City Preview – Will the Foxes stretch unbeaten run?

Leicester City are unbeaten in four league and cup games since a UEFA Europa League defeat to Legia Warsaw at the end of last month, winning their last three. Over the past ten days or so, City have beaten Manchester United, Spartak Moscow and Brentford.

In the previous round of the cup, Leicester saw off EFL Championship side Millwall away from home. The Midlands outfit dominated the game, with second-half strikes from Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho giving the Foxes a comfortable 2-0 win in south London.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score

Leicester won the FA Cup for the first time last season and will be looking to far in all cup competitions this term. Can they reach the last eight of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday?

Brighton & Hove Albion Preview – Can the Seagulls bounce back with a cup win?

Brighton & Hove Albion have been the surprise package in the Premier League so far, winning four of their opening nine. The Seagulls are currently in fifth place on 15 points.

After three straight league draws, Graham Potter’s men were brought back down to earth by Manchester City last weekend. The champions ran riot, leaving the Amex Stadium with a deserved 4-1 win. Brighton’s last victory came against Swansea City in the previous round of the EFL Cup over a month back.

The Seagulls have made a fine start, but they could do with a win after three draws and a defeat from their last four. The away victory on Wednesday is available at 14/5.

Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion Betting Advice

These two teams have already met this season, with Brighton edging a Premier League fixture at the Amex last month. A Neal Maupay penalty and a Danny Welbeck goal put Albion 2-0 up. Jamie Vardy pulled one back on the hour mark, but Brighton held on for the win.

They met three times in the league and cup last season, with Leicester winning all three. The last League Cup fixture between the pair was in the 1994-95 season.

Key Facts – Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion Betting Tip

  • Leicester have won three league and cup fixtures in a row
  • Brighton are without a win in four (three draws, one defeat)
  • The Seagulls beat the Foxes in the PL last month

Leicester are starting to find form, while Brighton’s momentum has slowed up in recent weeks. Therefore, our money is going on a Foxes win. It could be close, so take a punt on Leicester to return the favour with a 2-1 victory of their own (15/2).

Patson Daka was in inspired form in Moscow a week ago, scoring all four goals in Leicester’s 4-3 Europa League win. Daka was also on target in City’s recent league triumph over Man United. Back the Zambian to score anytime in this one at 15/8.
