Leicester City Preview – Can Foxes extend unbeaten run?

Leicester City bring a four-match unbeaten run into today’s clash against Southampton following wins against Norwich City and Watford in 3-0 and 5-1 victories along with gaining a point in a 1-1 draw away at Chelsea.

However, it’s a case of too little too late for Brendan Rodgers’ side as the east midlands club sit in 9th place and find themselves seven points adrift of the top seven pack and the European places.

With just one defeat in their last eight home games though, this gives Leicester a boost ahead of this final game of the season.

 

 

Southampton Preview – Can Saints finish on a high?

Southampton know they are safe from relegation heading into this final game of the season at the King Power Stadium which is just as well as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have slipped to four defeats out of their last five games, leaving them in 15th place.

Indeed, Southampton have won just one of their last 11 matches overall in the Premier League and this includes eight defeats but the visitors could at least keep things close at Leicester today as Saints have lost just three of their last seven away outings and includes a 3-2 win at Tottenham as well.
