Watford won promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking last season. However, even though they were above the relegation zone, the club sacked Xisco Munoz in early October. The experienced Claudio Ranieri, who won the Premier League title with Leicester in 2016, took over from Munoz.
Ranieri has had a mixed bag of results so far, winning two and losing three of his first five. Both wins were eye-catching, as the Hertfordshire club thumped Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park and Man United 4-1 at Vicarage Road.
