The merseyside derby rounds things off nicely on Sunday afternoon when Liverpool entertain Everton as the betting tips continue at Anfield with both teams sitting in the top six of the Premier League.

This therefore brings even more meaning to this famous local derby but having won four of their last five matches in the Premier League with wins over Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Fulham and Watford and still remaining unbeaten this season, the hosts will be confident.
Liverpool’s dangerous attacking trio of Salah, Mane and Firmino could well be boosted by Shaqiri who may get a start here.
Everton look a very different prospect this season under manager Marco Silva as he’s helped lift The Toffees into genuine contenders for European football next season. The murmers of discontent under previous manager Sam Allardyce have turned to cheers as Everton have suffered just one defeat from their last seven matches overall in the top flight.
That defeat was a 2-1 loss away at Manchester United but recent wins over Fulham, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Cardiff City have pushed Everton up the table and into 6th place.
However, it needs to be noted that four of these five recent wins were recorded at Goodison Park while their results away from home continue to frustrate the Everton faithful; an away record of 1-3-2 7/9 is by far the worst record of all the teams in the top six, and this could well come to light again at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Forward Richarlison (6 goals) and creative midfielder Sigurdsson (6 goals, 2 assists) seem to be Everton’s main hopes of getting something out of this encounter.
