Salzburg Prediction – Can Salzburg upset the odds?

Of course, there’s always a chance of an upset in football, but Austrian side, Salzburg, will face an extremely tough task of getting anything out of their trip to Anfield on Wednesday night in Matchday 2 of the Champions League.

The visitors have also produced a string of impressive results of late as they’re unbeaten in their last 10 matches overall in all competitions, including a 6-2 dismantling of Belgian side, Genk, on Matchday 1 of the Champions League which has placed them joint top of Group E with Italian club, Napoli, who dished out a defeat to Liverpool last time out.

Having won 8 of their first 9 matches of their domestic Bundesliga campaign, Salzburg are in pretty good nick too, while results away from home in the Champions League have also shown promise as the visitors are unbeaten in their last 7 matches on the road.
