Arguably the biggest match of this weekend’s Premier League action sees a Sunday afternoon clash between league leaders, Liverpool and 3rd placed Tottenham as the betting tips continue at Anfield with a precious three points up for grabs for both teams.

By the time Liverpool kick-off on Sunday though, The Reds could find themselves playing catch-up again to title rivals, Manchester City as City will have played Fulham in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off in a match they’re expected to win at a canter.
Worse case scenario then for Liverpool will be that they’re behind by just a point with the incentive of reinstating their two-point lead if they take all three points against Tottenham on Sunday. Although Tottenham lie in 3rd place and are some 15 points adrift of their hosts, Liverpool, ahead of Sunday’s titanic battle at Anfield, the visitors may still have a very important part to play in deciding the outcome of the title race on Sunday when they make their way up to merseyside.
Having now gone four matches without a win in the Premier League, losing three of these last four matches, Tottenham’s previously nailed-down top four finish is now anything but, following defeats to Burnley, Chelsea and Southampton and being held by Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at Wembley in the recent north-London local derby.
