Dundee sit second from bottom in the Scottish Premiership and three points above St Mirren but like the bottom club, Dundee can only hope they can start picking up points in the second phase of the Scottish domestic season when they split into the two divisions of six teams.
Dundee have picked up points in recent weeks with back-to-back draws against Hamilton Academical and Kilmarnock, but the visitors have picked up just the one win from their last 10 matches overall in the Scottish top flight, that being a surprise 2-1 win away at 5th placed Hearts last month.
That win at Hearts was one of only victories on their travels to date within an overall poor away record of 2-2-8 10/27 and along with Hamilton Academical, Dundee have the joint second worst defensive record in the division, with only bottom club St Mirren being worse.
In addition, the visitors have kept just one clean sheet on the road so far this season which was in a 2-0 win away at Hamilton Academical, but they’ll do well to get anything out of Livingston here today I fancy.

Although Livingston have recently lost two home matches on the trot, these were against teams sitting in the top three of the division, but the visit from Dundee today should see the hosts returning to winning ways in this clash.
