Peter Bosz’s Lyon started their season with no wins from their opening three Ligue 1 games. After a draw with Brest in match one, Lyon were easily beaten 3-0 at Angers. However, they did restore some pride with a 3-3 home draw with Clermont on matchday three.
Before the international break, the Kids picked up a massive three points on the road. Moussa Dembele’s goal proved to enough to edge a tight game against Nantes. Lyon held on in the latter stages after Damien Da Silva was sent off with 12 minutes to go.

Strasbourg Preview – Will the Racers build on victory over Brest?
After guiding Rennes to third place in the curtailed 2019-20 Ligue 1 season, Julian Stephan left Roazhon Park in March. In July, Stephan made the switch to the Stade de la Meinau to take over at Strasbourg, who finished 15th last term.
Stephan lost his opening two games in charge of Strasbourg, as the club were beaten by Angers and Paris Saint-Germain early doors. However, after a 1-1 home draw with Troyes on 22nd August, Strasbourg picked up their first win of the campaign last time out. An own goal and strikes from Sanjin Prcic and Adrien Thomasson did the business.
