An emphatic 7-2 thrashing of Israeli outfit, Maccabi Haifa, in the Europa League play-offs in midweek ensured Tottenham’s place in the group stage of the competition and gave manager, Jose Mourinho, and his side a welcome lift ahead of this important clash at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
