Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

The Riverside Stadium is the venue of my next pick as Monday night sees a bottom half clash in the Premier League between home side Middlesbrough and visitors Hull City with a precious three points up for grabs for both teams.

Middlesbrough have managed to win just one Premier League game on home turf so far this season which was a 2-0 win over Bournemouth at the end of October, but too many stalemates have prevented Boro from moving away from the bottom end of the English top flight as they’ve been involved in 6 stalemates so far in this campaign out of a total of 13 matches.

Boro’s home record reflects the problems they’ve had in keeping their heads above water in their return to the big time with a record of  1-1-4  5/7 with manager Karanka looking at damage control and sneaking a point here and there to keep his team on the right side of the bottom three.

Visitors Hull City sit second from bottom in the Premier League heading into tonight’s early relegation clash with Middlesbrough, but The Tigers are just one point behind their north-east rivals as they sneaked a point against West Brom in a 1-1 draw last time out.

Hull have also managed just one win on their travels so far in this campaign which came earlier in the season with a 2-0 win at Swansea City, but they’ve since slumped to five away matches without a win as they’ve taken just one additional point thanks to a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

Defeats at Liverpool, Bournemouth, Watford and Sunderland may well see Hull set themselves up for a point here this evening in a game they can’t afford to lose.
