Millwall Preview – Can the Lions maintain unbeaten league start?
Gary Rowett’s Millwall kicked off their season with a 0-0 home draw with Stoke City. Then last weekend, the Lions picked up three points against Rotherham United at the New York Stadium, with Jed Wallace scoring the only goal of the game. However, they were beaten for the first time this season in the EFL Cup in midweek, losing 2-0 at home to Burnley.
The Den is a notoriously tough ground to visit for away sides. Last season, only five teams left the Lions’ patch with maximum points. Millwall accumulated 38 points on home turf, winning ten, drawing eight and losing five of 23. In the process, the Londoners scored 33 and shipped 25.
Millwall will be a tough nut to crack for a lot of teams this season. They have a very good manager in Rowett, who could take the Lions to the promised land. Can they secure all three points on home turf this Saturday?
Brentford Preview – Will the Bees buzz home with all three points?
Brentford are one of the favourites for promotion. The Bees were losing finalists in the Championship play-offs last term, and they will be hoping to avoid the lottery of the play-offs altogether this season by gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Things are looking rosy in the Brentford garden, as they recently moved into their new home and the club are certainly on the rise under Frank. Despite losing a few of their stars over the summer, the Bees still have an excellent squad of players.

However, they were much more like their normal selves against Huddersfield Town last weekend, as goals from Josh Da Silva, Marcus Forss and Bryan Mbeumo gave them a 3-0 win at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Millwall vs Brentford Betting Advice
Having also beaten Premier League sides Southampton and West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Cup, Brentford will be eyeing up a fourth league and cup victory on the spin this weekend.
