Millwall Preview – Can the Lions pick up first home league win?
Gary Rowett’s Millwall have had a mixed bag of results at the start of this season, winning two, drawing two and losing one of five in the Championship. As we mentioned, the Lions are seventh in the table with eight points to their name.
Millwall drew with Stoke City at The Den on the opening weekend before beating Rotherham United at the New York Stadium on matchday two. The Lions then drew with Brentford and lost at Swansea City.
After that narrow loss to the Swans at the Liberty Stadium before the international break, Millwall returned to winning ways last time out. They went a goal down early on to Wycombe Wanderers, but second-half strikes from Jed Wallace and Ryan Leonard turned the game on its head at Adams Park to give the London team a 2-1 win.
Millwall could be dark horses for promotion to the Premier League this season. At the time of writing, the Londoners are priced at 6/1 to be promoted.
Luton Town Preview – Hatters to give Millwall a good game in the capital?
Luton Town have impressed so far, winning five of their eight league and cup matches. However, since beating Derby County in the league a month back, the Hatters have lost three of their past four in all competitions.
Luton started their Championship campaign with three wins from four, seeing off Barnsley, Derby and Wycombe. However, Town were beaten 2-0 at home by Stoke City last time out.

Luton have surprised many with the start they have made, as Nathan Jones’ boys occupy the final play-off place at present.
