Boro have lost three of their last four matches overall in the Championship with an earlier 3-0 defeat at home to Swansea City, while on the road, the visitors have managed to capture just two wins from their previous seven matches on their travels.
The bigger picture paints an even gloomier picture for Middlesbrough as they’ve won just four of their last 20 matches away from home in the second tier, and they’ll be up against a solid Millwall outfit here.
